Noted as being the "Bay Area's best-kept secret", North Bay native PriMO! (former Premo Kutz) has been making his mark in DJ battles and killing in clubs around the Bay with his unique blend of technical scratching and party rocking. 

"I used to listen to old school mixes from the late-80's/early 90's and there were always these breaks where DJ's would start cutting or doing tricks and really show their style. I wanted to be one of those guys."

Starting at the young age of 13, PriMO! began his venture in the DJ world on borrowed CDJ equipment doing mobile parties in houses, garages, dances, etc… At 15 he finally saved enough money and bought his first pair of turntables. At the same time he was also introduced to Turntablism and the DJ Battle world and from there locked himself in a room for the next two years to learn the art of scratching. 

By 18 he was entering DJ battles from the Bay all the way down to Las Vegas. He's taken home titles such as Sam Ash DJ Battle Champ 2006 (Las Vegas), Pepsi Qquest Team Co-Champ 2006 (SF), and Table Manners/Mighty 4 Champion 2008 (SF). 

Being a self-taught scratch DJ raised out of Wine Country he has since then held a residency at Skratchpad, (a monthly DJ party with residents such as Mista-B (4OneFunk), Celskiii and Deeandroid (L.F.D.V.), Snayk Eyes (89 Skratch Gangsters), and more), at The Cellar in downtown San Francisco.

He's performed alongside DJ's such as DJ Qbert (3x DMC World Champ+America's Best DJ 2010), DJ Rafik (DMC World Champ 2007), Teeko (4oneFunk+F.A.M.E.), Tyra from Saigon (Best Female Scratcher), artists such as Zion-I, KRS-One, The Grouch, The Coup, and many more!

Mixing-wise he plays a wide variety of Hip Hop, Funk, Electro, Indie, Dubstep and more. Being versatile is key to him as his venues may range from a backpacker hip hop show one night to a trendy hotspot the next, to a grimy 'hipster' bar another...
