Panasonic has unveiled HDC-SDT750, the first camcorder that is capable of filming in 3D. So, with this we can expect to film the most important events of our life in 3D. The camcorder works with a double lens. Two lenses are attached in front of the traditional 2D camcorder. These two lenses film the same scene with different angles, storing them in the memory card. When you want to watch the scenes that you have filmed, then you can stream the filmed scenes on a 3D TV and watch them with special glasses. Now, you must be wondering, how the scenes filmed from a conventional 2D camera are turned into 3D. It is a software in the camcorder that brings the two set of scenes together in a single set of moving images, rendering it in 3D. To be available from September, this camcorder wears a price tag of £1,300.
