Lexus has unveiled the first images of the LFA Special Edition.

While details are scarce, the car features a front lip spoiler, aerodynamic canards or winglets on the sides of the front bumper, a fixed rear wing made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, unique wheels, and an exclusive paint job (in black, matte black, pure white, or orange).

In terms of performance, the special edition boasts a revised suspension, a quicker transmission (it shifts .05 seconds faster), and additional power.  The 4.8-liter V10 produces approximately 570 PS (419 kW / 562 hp) - an increase of 10 PS (7 kW / 10 hp).

No word on pricing or availability, but look for more information to be released in the coming months.
