- REBEL8 will keep me busy for a LONG time, and I’ll continue to pursue various publishing projects and collaborations.
30. What would someone have to do for you to fall in love with him/her?
- My Buddhist practice has shown me that it is incredibly important to love everyone and everything. Love is the base energy of life. It heals and nourishes. I try to keep my heart open to the love that is always available in the present moment. For me to “fall in love” with someone simply means that I am allowed to sink into another person who has also opened their heart. Deep down, we all want to love each other. It’s a shame that we don’t.

- Right here in San Francisco, drawing and cycling every day.
32. Where do you look for creative inspiration?
- I feel like as long as I’ve been alive my senses have been constantly collecting inspirational material. So a lot of times I’ll just look within. I settle my mind in meditation and wait for the next image to coalesce. Simple as that.
33. Where would you like to do your next show?
- I don’t really care to show in galleries anymore. I’m pretty content just showing my work here in San Francisco. At this point, doing a show for a gallery is kind of a personal favor. It’s not something I’m pursuing. I deal with my tattoo business in much the same way.
34. When was the last time you cried?
- Tchaikovsky’s Symphony #4 brought me to tears yesterday.
35. When was the first time you realized you were no longer a child?
- When I lost my virginity.
36. When you wake up in the morning what is the first thing that comes to mind?
- “Damn, what time is it?”
