The Taurus Protector Polymer blends a unique design with modern updates that weighs a mere 18.2 ounces.

This smart revolver has a fully shrouded zero-profile hammer and features a classically inspired grip that offers the look of wood but the purchase and durability of rubber.

The Taurus Protector Polymer chambers five rounds of .38 Special +P ammunition and features a single action/double-action trigger.

Additional aspects include a highly visible fiber optic front sight and ambidextrous thumb rest. The revolver’s fully shrouded zero-profile hammer can be manually cocked/decocked in a single action operation when needed.

The Taurus Protector Polymer is offered in a blue finish and its barrel measures 2.5 inches, with an overall length of 6.32 inches.

Like all Taurus handguns the Protector Polymer comes standard with the unique Taurus Security System® that allows users to securely lock the gun using an inconspicuous key-lock.
